JL Garcia Bio...

JL Garcia is a writer, poet, filmmaker and an over all artistic creator from Paterson, New Jersey. Born in the Dominican Republic in 1973 JL has always loved the art of communicating through words. JL wrote his first screenplay "Talk To Me" in 1997. He founded Ugly Mnky Productions in 2007 and self published his first book, "Life Sucks Major Ass, But Poetry Helps" through Amazon in 2011. JL worked hand in hand with the late Mike Brochu as DP and camera operator for the award winning feature film "Ten Buck Baton". As the creative director and head writer at Ugly Mnky Productions,  JL continues to write, produce and direct original screenplays.
